Most of us know the guilt. You're in Melbourne, mum is in Cairns. You call on weekends, but you know it's not enough. You ring on Sunday; six days go by with no one. Alongside fills the days in between.

Alongside exists for adult children who love their parents deeply but live in a different city — or a different country. We're not replacing you. We're filling the gap between your calls.
Real conversations, not monitoring
We deliberately built a warm, friendly AI voice — not a surveillance tool. Your parent should look forward to the call. If they don't, we've failed.
Family-first transparency
Nothing we do is hidden from the parent — every call is announced, consented to, and theirs to end. No secret reports. Trust is the product.

We understand what 'checking on mum' means here. The distances. The guilt. The pressure of being the responsible one. We're from those families too.
